HRI-200 NEW FEATURE "Portable Digital Node Function"

Please be announced that YAESU offers the new additional feature of the WIRES-X - “Portable Digital Node Function.” The “HRI mode” will be added to the following YAESU C4FM digital transceivers: FTM-400XD, FTM-100D and FT2D. Users can easily establish the portable node station at any locations by connecting one of these transceivers with PC – without setting up an Ethernet port with the conventional HRI-200.
With this new additional function, the WIRES-X access is possible even from Hotel room, Airport, Vehicle, a Free WiFi Space and so on.
This new feature will be certain to expand the flexibility and mobility of the WIRES-X communication with the conventional fixed type node station with the HRI-200 as well as for travelling.
This feature is available only by updating the C4FM digital transceivers’ firmware (FTM-400XD, FTM-100D, and FT2D), and the latest software including this function will be available in July 2018.
